Relocation of FMA Mechatronic Solutions GmbH
An existing building in Feldkirchen-Westerham, located in the immediate vicinity of the train station, was leased and renovated to meet FMA standards. The goal of the relocation was to create more space for production, streamline processes, and improve infrastructure connectivity. The move to the new premises took place in September 2025.

70 Years of FMA Mechatronic Solutions AG
April 29, 2025 marked the start of the anniversary year celebrating the company’s 70th anniversary for the Liechtenstein location—in step with technology, characterized by continuity, technical expertise, and responsibility.

Renaming of the German location
The German location was renamed from InPeKo GmbH to FMA Mechatronic Solutions GmbH. As a result, the locations in Liechtenstein and Germany will operate under a common brand in the future, strengthening their unified market presence.

FMA Group expands business division with acquisition of NOX Systems AG
FMA Holding AG (“FMA Group”) announces the acquisition of NOX Systems AG (“NOX”), a leading developer and manufacturer in the field of security technology, with a focus on intrusion detection and access control systems.
• Further acquisition opens up new market in security technology
• Strengthening growth through expansion of the corporate group
• Strategic positioning as a mechatronics group with proprietary products and assembly manufacturing

FMA Mechatronic Solutions AG invests in multi-million-euro new building
In November 2022, the groundbreaking ceremony took place for the expansion building, located south of the current FMA building in Schaan. The move into the new building is scheduled for Q1 2024

FMA Mechatronic Solutions AG acquires InPeKo GmbH
FMA Mechatronic Solutions AG (“FMA”) announces the acquisition of InPeKo GmbH (“INPEKO”), a contract manufacturer of mechatronic assemblies based in Feldkirchen-Westerham.
• Strategic acquisition opens access to a broad customer network in Germany
• Supporting growth through two additional manufacturing sites
• Expanding manufacturing expertise to additional industries, particularly mechanical engineering, the food industry, and aviation
The System Delivery division continues to grow successfully in the following areas:
• Vacuum technology
• Water supply
• Medical technology, transportation, and more
A continuous improvement process ensures the highest quality standards.
In 2012, the company was renamed “FMA Mechatronic Solutions AG.”
In the 2000s, the company expanded its role as a systems supplier and further developed and expanded its own product line of aluminum testing equipment. In addition, production capacities were optimized:
• Layout and material flow optimization throughout production
• Cell production and introduction of one-piece flow
• Production with integrated testing
• Introduction of Kanban
• Low-dust workstations
In 1991, Stefan Dürr became managing director of FMA and established the automotive electronics production division. The company intensified its collaboration with Ebersbächer, KHD, and Mercedes-Benz to supply various sensors and control systems.
In 1995, Stefan Dürr acquired FMA from PEBRA. In 1996, FMA obtained ISO 9001 certification and expanded its sales network.
In 1983, the company is renamed "FMA Feinmechanik & Elektronik AG." In the fall of 1986, the company moves to new premises at Im alten Riet 24 in Schaan. Development and construction of various test benches for lubrication technology. Development of torque wrenches and measuring devices for the automotive industry.
In 1971, FMA was sold to the German company PEBRA in Esslingen. With approximately 2,000 employees, PEBRA is a major player in the automotive industry. The aluminum measuring instruments division was expanded. Other products include radio equipment for the military.
In the 1960s, FMA launches its "Aluminum Measurement Technology" business segment. Close cooperation with Alusuisse begins in the field of hydrogen measurement in liquid aluminum. Development and production of the first vacuum pumps.
On April 29, 1955, Helmut Frick founded the “Feinmechanik Anstalt” at Wiesengasse 17 in Schaan. The company began by manufacturing individual mechanical parts and simple assemblies. Later, it went on to produce the following electrical appliances, among others:
• Motors for small appliances
• Coffee makers for cars
• Winch motors
